Robert Burns Dinner - January 25th
In his short 37 years, Robert Burns created some remarkable poetry that has stood the sands of time. Join us for the annual birthday celebration each January 25th to celebrate the famous Scottish poet and lyricist. In the tradition of the Scots, Glenlaurel’s Manor House comes alive with a Scottish influenced meal, readings, toasts, merriment, and perhaps some singing. This is just one of many celebrations held around the world on this day, but one of the few in the state of Ohio. Set amidst the atmospheric charm of Glenlaurel, A Scottish Inn & Cottages, this exclusive event promises a Halloween celebration filled with mystery, drama, and exceptional cuisine.The Dinner is a six-course affair designed to evoke the dark romance of Poe’s literary world. The night of Gothic revelry will be accompanied by live dramatic readings of the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Don your most mysterious attire and step into the haunting world of Edgar Allan Poe.
Thanksgiving Dinner - November 27th
Relax and celebrate a bounty of blessing! Join us on Thanksgiving Day for a delectable four-course lunch or six-course dinner. Intimate groups are welcome, including children ages twelve and older. It’s a shared holiday where all are welcome.
Dickens Dinner - December 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 26
