Scotch Tasting Successful and Smooth

Scotch in a glass.

The Glenlaurel Scotch tasting was held on June 15th. We tasted five different types of Scotch and learned about the different regions and why some are smokier than others. Did you know that in Scottland, Scotch Whisky is spelled without the “e,” but here in the U.S. we spell whiskey with an “e.” The Scots say the extra vowel takes away from quality drinking time!

Be sure to sign up for our next event which will be on wine…it just so happens it will be the weekend of Lilyfest so we’ve named the tasting “Lily White” wine tasting, which will be held on Sat. July 13th. Make sure you call to RSVP as space is limited, 800.809.REST (7378).
