Glenlaurel is proud to welcome Candace Lee as our onsite Concierge. She is lovely and outgoing with a smile in her voice during phone conversations and a smile on her face when she meets guests in person. She is having fun walking the grounds in the spring sunshine and introducing new guests to our accommodations…
Ah, the spring sunshine is reminding everyone of all the “fun things to do” outdoors in the fresh air. The local attractions are laying out the welcome mats and opening their doors for the season. It’s time to come to Glenlaurel for a getaway!
First thing on the list is to call us to reserve your accommodation because our newly refreshed rooms, suites, crofts, and cottages fill up quickly. Second thing on the list is to plan what you want to do on your vacation. Whether you already have activities in mind or want to try something new, Glenlaurel now has a Concierge Program to help schedule “fun things to do” whenever you stay.
Are you interested in outdoor activities such as canoeing and kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing and rappelling? Candace will make reservations and reserve rentals for you. What about an airplane tour of the hills, bicycling, ATV trail riding, go-kart riding, or maybe belly boat fishing? Candace will be happy to discuss times, places, and directions for each. Maybe you chose to do something less strenuous like a workshop in bead making, candle making, stained glass art classes, or a leisurely photography hike? Candace will call the local artisans for workshop openings and availability. Prefer to ride the scenic railway in historic railcars in Nelsonville, OH or attend the upcoming Athens, OH International Film and Video Festival from April 3 to April 9? Perhaps a wee bit of wine-tasting at the new Hocking Hills Winery in Logan, OH opening up April 4th?
For those who wish to “never leave” Glenlaurel, Candace will arrange flowers for a special occasion, Golf on our Scottish Links, massages in your wee accommodation, rose petals, or daily surprises for your special some one. The options are endless and as unique as you.
Let Candace ease your stay by taking the worry and hassle out of planning. Please give her a call before your arrival, giving her as much advance notice as possible, to schedule your activities. She can be reached at 740.385.2951, ext 306. Or by email candace@glenlaurel.com.
