Writers Workshop at Glenlaurel Attention Writers of the Glen... Writing Workshop Coming August 15th. Glenlaurel will be presenting a half-day writing workshop on Saturday, August 15th. This exciting workshop will be directed by award winning author, Ruth Carmichael Ellinger, author of the historical novels set in Fairfield County (Ohio). Ruth has been writing award winning stories and articles for over thirty years. She was awarded “Writer of the Year" in 2008 by American Christian Writers for her Wildrose Book Series. The workshop will open with, "Awakening the Writer Within" and "Where Do I Go From Here?," which will inspire the latent writer in you and address the many questions writers may have concerning basic writing skills or how to find a publisher for your work. If you are presently writing stories, a novel, essays, magazine articles, or simply a journal, this is the perfect opportunity to attend this half-day workshop to enhance your skills, your focus and your confidence. The workshop is open to men and women and will take place here at Glenlaurel on August 15th 2009 from 11am-3pm. The half-day workshop is $75 and includes a gourmet lunch.
